OH HI!

Haven’t been on this thing for a while (it’s Ben btw). Can’t stay here for long, just fill you in (lol).

EXAMS are coming up (lol) for everyone, so we’ve got like 3 weeks til study leave (all but one of my exams are before study leave…good thing? hmm…) so we’re revisiony at the moment.

We’re having a Flight of the Conchords marathon sometime soon which will be sweeeet. We were supposed to have it on Friday but we went to this party instead…it was alright, kinda eventful in a way…

And yeah IRON MAN is out soon. Should be good, all of Club FSU (and respective others) will be making a trip of it. We’re gonna be drinking Irn Bru and everything. Awesommmeee.

Another film that should be AWESOME is this: Frank Miller’s directoral debut, based on one of his favourite comic series from the ’40’s, The Spirit by Will Eisner. The film also stars Samuel L Jackson, Scarlett Johannsson (schwing) and Eva Mendes, which is pretty sweeet. Looks a bit like Sin City too, but much better stylised, and more true to comic book aesthetics. Take a look:

Tonight I’m going to see Mystery Jets, and help them out too (guestlist time!), should be pretty brilliant!

But a band I’ve been listening to, who remind me of both Hendrix and Black Lips at the same time, funnily enough, is this band, WHITE DENIM. Bloody good stuff. They should be getting big soon. They’re from Texas. You can get a few tracks of theirs legally and freely on their record label site HERE!

Here’s a part from an episode of FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS. Ahhhh New Zealand accents…better than the Aussies’. AND it reminds me of Knomey’s mum…ahem. Anyway watch this clip, if you haven’t seen any episodes then DO. I myself haven’t seen the whole series yet (SOMEBODY LEND IT ME PLZ), but I’m hoping to see the film EAGLE vs SHARK first (starring one of the guys, Jermaine I think). TAKE A PEEK:
